Personality
Bichons are happy, fun-loving small dogs that can very easily win
hearts. If you've chosen a Bichon Frise as your little friend,
you'll take pleasure in their bright, easy-going and affectionate
personality. Bichons thrive when they receive plenty of attention,
and are always keen to cuddle or play. When surrounded by friends
and family, Bichons are in their element, particularly when the
focus is on them. Bichons are obedient to their family members, and
act kindly around children and other pets. Given their high
intelligence, they are also easy to train.
Grooming and Exercise
Bichons require regular grooming in order to keep their double
coatlooking full and fluffy, which is why it's important to brush
their coat on a daily basis. Frequent bathing is also important to
keep this small dog looking their best. Be sure to trim the fur
around their face and eyes, keeping the area around their eyes
clear of any tears or mucus discharge. Despite the Bichon's lively
nature, their exercise requirements can be met with ease.
