Expectancy
Most Pomeranians are 22-28 cm in height, and weigh approximately
1-3 kg. You can expect to spend approximately 15 heart-warming
years with your Pomeranian.
Personality
Pomeranians are sharp, active and curious small dogs. They make
great watchdogs since they are so quick to react with their sharp
barks. Their extroverted and affectionate nature wins many hearts,
but sometimes their confidence can turn into boldness and they can
be temperamental. Overall, Pomeranians are good with children and
elderly people, and are obedient and very loyal.
Grooming and Exercise
Pomeranians require daily brushing in order to maintain their long
and plentiful coat.. Avoid shampooing Pomeranians when they are
shedding their winter coat, so as prevent it from becoming damaged.
Do daily eye checks and look after teeth on weekly basis.
Pomeranians are suitable for apartment living and will get enough
exercise without a backyard. Be sure to keep your small dog indoors
however, during extreme heat conditions outside.
